Shadows of Kingston Mills

This is a work which tested me. Coming off the playful humor of Strange Vegetables (see previous page), I found myself deep in horror land, and battling a tight deadline while events in my life seemed determined to thwart me. The intensity with which I worked, combined with lack of sleep and an abundance of stress, came through in the finished piece. There is no playful humor here! Basically, I went with a visual nightmare inspired by one of the tales from the book.
