Hunting Greyboys

Stephen King's novel, Dreamcatcher, inspired this painting. The vortex of clouds with lights shining through from above was the spark, and I built the image around that. I took the artistic license of combining the Kurtz and Mr. Grey characters into one central figure for my painting, allowing the "Ripley" alien spores to flow through the image and offer a stark color contrast.
